We are an evangelistic sports ministry serving kindergarten through sixth grade boys and girls who are both members of our church and the community at large, no matter what denomination. Unlike many sports and recreation programs, we do not emphasize winning games as the final goal. Our primary objectives as a sports ministry is to serve the whole child - emphasizing physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. We believe developing self-esteem and character qualities like best effort, sportsmanship, leadership, and above all, Christ-likeness, coupled with skills development, enhances and stimulates a fun and exciting competitive atmosphere.

Mandatory Basketball Coaches Meeting this Saturday, November 19 at 10am in Room 210 (second floor above gym) at First Baptist Church Corinth. At this meeting you will be able to pick up your player rosters, practice dates, etc. Questions will be answered about changes this season. Practices begin the week of November 28, the week after Thanksgiving.
That’s right, we’ve just completed the draft and all the teams have been put together! You should be hearing from your coach(es) some time this month and your practices will begin after Thanksgiving. We’ve also ordered the uniforms for this season! What colors do you think they’ll be? Click here to cast your vote on Facebook!
Starting today, no more refunds or changes to the teams will be made.

Tonight was our final Registration/Evaluation night, and we’re ready to start the 2011-2012 Basketball & Cheer Season! We’d like to thank of all you who registered your children for Upward this year (you should be hearing from your coaches before Thanksgiving) and we’d like to give extra-special thanks and a pat on the back to all of the volunteers who made these Registration/Evaluation nights possible!
